WHAT IS DHUHIYAH?
“Once our beloved Prophet Muhammad (saw) was asked, what is Dhuhiya? The Prophet (saw) answered: ‘It is the Sunnah of your father Ibrahim (as). For every hair of the Qurbani you receive a reward from Allah (SWT)” – Tirmidhi
We distribute Qurbani on Eid day straight after the sacrifice is performed. The meat is packaged and distributed amongst the most needy community.
We slaughter hundreds of animals on iddi adhuhiya as a fulfillment of Allah’s commandment and provide the needy societies with meat and foodstuffs enabling the vulnerable happily celebrate iddi adhuhiya.
